Pork steak w/ oyster sauce


 
Me: Pa! how was it? is it good? salty?sweet? hmmm :s 
Papa: I like it! hmm the meat is so tender juicy and flavorful.
          Me: :D :D :D :D :D :D <3

           I can truly consume 3 cups of rice because of this dish:D HAHA

Ingredients:

  • 3.51 lbs of pork chop or pork shoulder butt
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 5 tspn lime or lemon
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 5 tspn oyster sauce (optional)
Cooking method:

  1. marinate pork chop or pork shoulder but with soy sauce and lime or lemon in a large bowl.
  2. marinate at least 30 minutes to 1 hour
  3. heat a pan with cooking oil
  4. fry the marinated pork in medium heat until golden brown and the meat is tender.
  5. when done frying add hot water, sugar, oyster sauce, and pork. Simmer for at least 5 to 7 minutes wait until the sauce is sticky.
  6. put the onions cooked for about 2 minutes
  7. transfer now to a serving plate
  8. Serve with plain rice

Leche Flan

My boyfriend  made his never-fail leche flan. SO DELICIOUS INDEED! He actually serve this dessert one of his cousin's house and I just beg him for the recipe HAHA 


Ingredients:
  • 7 egg yolks
  • 5 eggs with white
  • 1 big can of evap milk/any milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1/4 tspn vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • add 1 small can of nestle cream (optional)
Cooking method:

  1. caramelize sugar in the sauce pan until dissolve to light brown (don't burn)
  2. pour the caramelize sugar in prepared molds, spread immediately!
  3. SET ASIDE
  4. prepare the other ingredients
  5. add all the ingredients in blender (7 egg yolks, 5 eggs w/ white, evap, condensed, vanilla)
  6. NOW BLEND! mix lightly!
  7. now pour into serving molds
  8. cover each mold with foil and place in the pan with hot water
  9. bake for 55 to 65 minutes or until top is firm
  10. let cool and chill overnight before serving!

Beef Caldereta




Ingredients:
  • 2lbs beef cube
  • 3 garlic gloves crushed and chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce +1 tspn soy sauce
  • 1 cup red bell pepper cut into strips
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup liver spread
  • 1tspn crushed chili
  • 3 large bay leaves
  • 2 cups potatoes sliced
  • 2 carrts sliced 1 cuo cooking oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • you can add pineapple chunks if you want ( I LIKE THE SWEETNESS )
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar, optional if you want it sweet :) 
Cooking method:
  1. Heat cooking oil in the pan and fry the carrots and potatoes until color light brown
  2. remove the fried carrots and potatoes from the pan then set aside
  3. In the same frying pan, saute the onions followed the garlic
  4. add now the beef let simmer for 5 mins
  5. add water and the soy sauce and let it boil until tender for 1 hour or more
  6. add the tomato sauce and liver spread let simmer for 5 mins
  7. now you can add the carrots, potatoes, bay leaves, pine apple chunks and crushed chili
  8. add salt and pepper to taste
  9. serve hot with plane rice
