Pork steak w/ oyster sauce


 
Me: Pa! how was it? is it good? salty?sweet? hmmm :s 
Papa: I like it! hmm the meat is so tender juicy and flavorful.
          Me: :D :D :D :D :D :D <3

           I can truly consume 3 cups of rice because of this dish:D HAHA

Ingredients:

  • 3.51 lbs of pork chop or pork shoulder butt
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 5 tspn lime or lemon
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 5 tspn oyster sauce (optional)
Cooking method:

  1. marinate pork chop or pork shoulder but with soy sauce and lime or lemon in a large bowl.
  2. marinate at least 30 minutes to 1 hour
  3. heat a pan with cooking oil
  4. fry the marinated pork in medium heat until golden brown and the meat is tender.
  5. when done frying add hot water, sugar, oyster sauce, and pork. Simmer for at least 5 to 7 minutes wait until the sauce is sticky.
  6. put the onions cooked for about 2 minutes
  7. transfer now to a serving plate
  8. Serve with plain rice
